Observation North Mare Foal Pairs

On Friday October 8th we returned to the Litchfied WH&B Corrals for a visit. It was very quiet. We spoke with the wrangler who was working, he filled us in on all that had been happening there and we were given the go ahead to go view the horses...

Processing has been completed on most all of the horses, mules and burrows from the Twin Peaks HMA.

This mare had a more difficult time getting into the hay piles, she was run off by the others.

Appaloosa colt and his mother were seen here (to the far right) and here at Summit Trough last August.

Most of the foals will be weaned in November, the late birth foals will stay with their mothers longer.
Facility adoptions will also likely begin sometime in November.
